Compassionate Transfer of Leave

Please consider donating unused vacation hours to someone who is ill or has to take time off to care for a sick family member. It can make a huge difference in their ability to make it through a tough time!

Donations will only be accepted if there are approved CTL employees. The following people have been approved for CTL assistance:

Candace Phillips
Gillian Rodriguez
Angela Benson

Benefits eligible employees can donate only their accrued vacation hours (not health) to employees requesting donated time off. In order for an employee to donate time, they must have accrued enough vacation time to donate and still have a minimum of 80 hours remaining in their accrual balance.

To donate, please follow the steps below:

1. Log into Workday, click "Menu" > "Requests"

2. Click "Create Request" > Search "Compassionate Leave Donation Request" > "Ok"

3. Read the guidelines, enter the number of hours to donate, then the employee name (EMPL ID if available)

4. Click "Submit"

Once the request is submitted, it will be routed to the benefits team to process, and your hours will be deducted if the employee you are donating to needs more hours for that pay period.
